Chicago Bulls second-year forward Patrick Williams (wrist) underwent surgery to repair torn ligaments in his left wrist this past October. While the Bulls never ruled him out for the entire season, there was wide speculation that he would indeed miss the entirety of the 2021-22 campaign. However, there's been good news about his recovery progress lately. Bulls head coach Billy Donovan stated that Williams is progressing well and that there is a "very strong possibility" Williams will play again this season. The former Florida State Seminole had been set for a big role going into the year. He was logging around 30 minutes per game prior to his wrist injury. If he's able to return this year, he'd likely see limited minutes while working his way back. Due to this, he isn't someone worth targeting in season-long fantasy formats.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller

Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams (quad) is listed as doubtful ahead of Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. Williams has missed the last eight games and it doesn't appear that he is quite ready to get back on the floor yet. His continued absence should mean that Julian Phillips and Matas Buzelis should continue seeing more minutes in the rotation. Phillips isn't much of a fantasy option right now, but Buzelis has played well during each of his last three games. The rookie forward is well worth a look as a streaming option while the Bulls are shorthanded.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams (knee) has picked up a questionable tag ahead of Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. He seems to be nearing his return to action after missing seven games. On Feb. 20, the team announced that he would be re-evaluated in two weeks after Williams received a platelet-rich plasma injection to treat tendinosis in his right knee. Bulls head coach Billy Donovan mentioned on Sunday that Williams could be available for this week's two-game road trip in Florida. Chicago is also scheduled to face the Miami Heat on Saturday. Williams could eat into the minutes of Matas Buzelis, who has been starting during his absence.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams (knee) will be sidelined for at least a couple of weeks. On Thursday, the team announced that Williams received a platelet-rich plasma injection to treat tendinosis in his right knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The 23-year-old will sit out a second consecutive game on Saturday against the Phoenix Suns. Matas Buzelis and Julian Phillips benefit most from a fantasy perspective from Williams' absence. While Phillips outperformed Buzelis on Thursday against the New York Knicks, the Bulls have used Buzelis as a starter, putting him in a better position to make an impact.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Chicago Bulls forward Patrick Williams (quadriceps) will not suit up for Thursday's matchup against the New York Knicks. He has been ruled out due to soreness in his right quadriceps. Williams' absence creates additional playing opportunities for Matas Buzelis and Julian Phillips. The former has already gained momentum recently with a move to the starting unit. Buzelis has averaged 14.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in 26.7 minutes this month, shooting a hugely impressive 60.3 percent from the field.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
