Patrick Williams Has A Chance To Return This Year
3 years agoChicago Bulls second-year forward Patrick Williams (wrist) underwent surgery to repair torn ligaments in his left wrist this past October. While the Bulls never ruled him out for the entire season, there was wide speculation that he would indeed miss the entirety of the 2021-22 campaign. However, there's been good news about his recovery progress lately. Bulls head coach Billy Donovan stated that Williams is progressing well and that there is a "very strong possibility" Williams will play again this season. The former Florida State Seminole had been set for a big role going into the year. He was logging around 30 minutes per game prior to his wrist injury. If he's able to return this year, he'd likely see limited minutes while working his way back. Due to this, he isn't someone worth targeting in season-long fantasy formats.
