Patrick Ricard Could Have Reduced Role In Offense
1 year agoThe Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec thinks Baltimore Ravens fullback Patrick Ricard will be on the team this year, but he'll likely be on the field a lot less than 2022, when he played almost 65 percent of the offensive snaps in offensive coordinator Greg Roman's scheme. General manager Eric DeCosta and head coach John Harbaugh value Ricard, but he probably won't have as much of a fit in new offensive coordinator Todd Monken's system. Baltimore doesn't currently have a blocking tight end on the roster, so perhaps the 29-year-old can fill in nicely there. Ricard had offseason hip surgery and didn't take part in offseason practices, but he's expected to be ready for training camp this summer. Ricard is not on the fantasy radar whatsoever, but he can do a lot, from lead blocking to lining up as a TE to catching balls out of the backfield.
