Patrick Kane Grabs Another Franchise Record
6 years agoChicago Blackhawks right wing Patrick Kane registered another franchise record to his name on Thursday, passing Stan Mikita for the longest assist streak in Blackhawks history. He had two assists and a goal in a 5-2 win over New Jersey. Kane is the seventh different player in league history to record an assist in 15 or more games in one season. The former MVP is almost single-handedly dragging the Hawks into the playoffs. He's set to smash his previous career-high 106 points, and in current form, he might be only a couple of weeks away from doing that. Artem Anisimov and Brandon Saad also collected multiple points against the Devils.
