6 years agoDetroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia was quiet on Thursday about how much quarterback Matthew Stafford will play in Friday night's preseason game against the New York Giants. Stafford did not dress for the Lions first preseason game, leaving Matt Cassel and Jake Rudock to take all the snaps. Since Stafford's job isn't going anywhere, there is a chance he'll play one series and then give way to Cassel and Rudock, who are in a race to win the backup job. The two split time in last week's game, with Cassel drawing the start. If you're playing preseason DFS, Cassel will likely get the majority of the opportunities based on his experience in the NFL.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
