Patrice Bergeron Strikes On The Power Play Against Canucks
3 years agoBoston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron notched the team's lone goal in Wednesday's 2-1 shootout loss to Vancouver, scoring a 5-on-3 power-play goal early in the third period. Charlie Coyle and David Pastrnak grabbed the assists. Bergeron had a game-high nine shots in total and registered one block in 19:39 of ice time. The Bruins captain now boasts 19 points for the campaign, with most of them (10) coming with the man advantage. Boston is among the league leaders with a 25.4 percent power play, and Brad Marchand also already has double-digit numbers in power-play points.
