Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron registered two goals and added a pair of assists in his team's 5-2 defeat of the Nashville Predators on Saturday. After missing more than a month due to an upper-body injury, the Bruins' captain stepped in and look like he hadn't missed any time, propelling his team to big win. The 33-year-old immediately showcased why he's considered a top-30 fantasy asset and with a remarkable 30 points (11 goals, 19 assists) in 20 games this season, he should be a mainstay in lineups in all fantasy formats. He'll look to have another big night against the Hurricanes on Sunday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller

Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron (upper-body) made his return to the lineup and scored a power play goal in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss against the Panthers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference first-round series. Bergeron was sidelined for the start of the series with both an illness and upper-body injury, but the Bruins were able to take three of the first four games in the series without their captain. Bergeron found the back of the net in the second period for the equalizing goal at the time, but the Bruins were unable to close out the series on home ice. Bergeron's return is a great addition for the forward core and the Bruins will have another chance to end the series in Game 6 on Friday night.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller

Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron (upper body) is regarded as a game-time decision for Wednesday's clash with Florida. The Bruins captain has yet to play in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs, but he appears to be on track to rejoin the lineup Wednesday, with the team making the final decision on his availability after the warmups. Boston hasn't really missed Bergeron in the series, grabbing a 3-1 lead, but he makes a welcome return, especially with David Krejci (upper body) remaining out for Game 4. Bergeron is slated to skate with David Pastrnak and Tyler Bertuzzi.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron (upper body) hasn't traveled with the team to Florida and will remain out for the next two games, starting with Friday's Game 3 of the series, but it's considered likely that he will be back for Game 5 when the series returns to Boston next week. The Bruins captain was in and out of the lineup during the final weeks of the regular season and he hasn't yet featured in the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron (upper body) will remain out of the lineup for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs first-round series against Florida Wednesday. The Bruins captain has missed five of the team's last 11 games and is trying to overcome an upper-body problem to jump back into the lineup. He was also reportedly dealing with an illness over the weekend but has since then recovered from the bug. Pavel Zacha will continue to center the first line in Bergeron's absence. The line, which also includes Brad Marchand and Jake DeBrusk, combined for three points in Game 1. Bergeron is considered day-to-day.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
