Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron logged an assist on Boston’s lone goal in Game 5, scoring with the man advantage late in the first period. Bergeron found the score sheet in each of the five games of this second-round series. His point streak of six games extends back to Game 7 of the Bruins first-round series. With Boston eliminated from the postseason, Bergeron’s season at least ends on a good note. He, along with his linemates Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak, was stellar for the Bruins in these playoffs, providing much of the team’s offensive success and driving play away from Boston’s crease. Bergeron finishes the postseason third in team scoring with 16 points and tied for the goals lead with six.--Kevin Acorn
