Pat Perez Looks To Defend Title At TPC Kuala Lumpur
6 years agoPat Perez enters this year's CIMB Classic hoping to defend his title at TPC Kuala Lumpur. The American put on a spectacular display in 2017, gaining 18.7 strokes total. While those numbers will be almost impossible to imitate again this season, Perez's putting prowess on the newly revamped Bermuda greens may make the course even better suited for his game. The 42-year-old grades out sixth in the field over his previous 50 rounds in strokes gained-putting on Bermuda greens. Unfortunately, those statistics haven't always translated to scoring for Perez. The three-time PGA Tour winner ranks just 28th in birdies gained and 61st in eagles gained in the same time frame. The no-cut feature will help Perez, but he still makes for a risky DFS option this week.
