Pat Freiermuth - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth had his busiest game of the season in a Week 6 win over the Seattle Seahawks as he caught all seven of his targets for 58 yards. It was Freiermuth, and not James Washington, who saw an increase in usage in Week 6 with
JuJu Smith-Schuster (shoulder) lost for the season. Freiermuth played on a season-high 60% of snaps while running 20 routes in the contest. The rookie tight end will look to keep it going against the Cleveland Browns in Week 8. Cleveland is allowing the 11th-fewest fantasy points per game this year but Freiermuth's increased role in the offense makes him a solid fantasy option nonetheless. Treat him as a mid-range TE2 in Week 8.
