Pat Freiermuth Leads Steelers In Receiving In Week 16
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth caught seven of his eight targets for 66 yards in a 13-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 16. The second-year tight end bounced back from a zero-target game with Mitch Trubisky under center last week against the Carolina Panthers. With Kenny Pickett at quarterback in Week 16, Freiermuth led the team in receiving yardage and catches while finishing second in targets behind only Najee Harris. Having Pickett back at quarterback made a big difference as Freiermuth seems to be one of his favorite targets while Trubisky favors Diontae Johnson. Freiermuth will be a mid-range TE1 in Week 17 against the Baltimore Ravens.
