Pascal Siakam Posts Game-High 25 Points On Sunday
4 years agoToronto Raptors power forward Pascal Siakam had a game-high 25 points in Sunday's narrow 106-105 loss to Golden State, shooting 9-for-19 from the field and capping things off with 11 rebounds to post his third double-double of the season. Siakam, who went 2-for-4 from deep, added three assists in 40 minutes of action with two turnovers. Fred Vanvleet finished with 21 points and Kyle Lowry, who had a miserable start offensively, recorded a 17-9-6 line. Siakam has been a disappointment this season after a huge breakout year in 2019-20, but he has started to improve since the calendar changed, shooting 50 percent from the field and averaging 21 points. He should do plenty of scoring again in the next matchup against the Blazers, who boast a poor 110.2 defensive rating.
