Pascal Siakam Notches First Career Triple-Double
4 years agoToronto Raptors power forward Pascal Siakam celebrated his first career triple-double on Monday, after finishing a 112-111 loss to Portland with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. He had an incredible start with 12 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in the first quarter. Siakam shot 9-for-17 from the field in the contest and his work on the defensive end included one assist. Chris Boucher also had a nice game with five treys, 20 points, and eight rebounds, while Toronto's backcourt struggled. Fred Vanvleet and Kyle Lowry combined for 9-for-30 shooting in the narrow loss. We can expect the Raptors' star guards to be much better on Wednesday against the Kings, and Siakam should be able to keep his good momentum going as well against a team that owns the league's worst defensive efficiency (114.8).
