7 years agoToronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam filled it up against the Knicks on Thursday, scoring 14 points off the bench, including one three-pointer, on a highly effective 6-for-9 from the field. Siakam came outside of his realm in this one, finishing the game with a career-high six assists for his efforts, while continuing his aggressive play on the boards, coming away with five rebounds in 23 minutes. He didn't have any blocks against New York but did swipe one steal in the win. Siakam provides some great upside but he's probably not ready to contribute for fantasy owners on a consistent basis just yet.--Matthew Thomas

2 days agoIndiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam (elbow) has received a questionable status due to elbow bursitis and may not suit up against the Utah Jazz on Friday. If there's ever a good time to get a rest game, the Pacers would likely choose this one against a banged-up and last-place Jazz team. So, if Siakam doesn't suit up, while Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Bennedict Mathurin (calf) are both questionable, they could be very thin in the frontcourt. Obi Toppin, Jarace Walker, and T.J. McConnell could all see a big bump in minutes and usage. In their last game, Walker played the most out of the three and posted 10 points, six rebounds, and two assists.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoIndiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam (personal) will play on Wednesday versus Dallas. The former Raptor amassed at least 25 points in each of the previous three games heading into Monday's overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, he didn't suit up for that one, opening the door for Obi Toppin to enter the starting lineup and finish with a team-high 34 points and 10 rebounds. With Tyrese Haliburton (back) still out, Siakam should see a bump in production. But as far as Toppin is concerned, he'll likely head back to the bench, eliminating most of his fantasy potential on Wednesday night.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoIndiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam (personal) is questionable for Wednesday's meeting with the Dallas Mavericks. The former Raptor had been on a roll, scoring at least 25 points in each of the Pacers' previous three contests heading into Monday's overtime victory over the Timberwolves. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to play because of a personal issue. Tyrese Haliburton (back), Aaron Nesmith (ankle), and Myles Turner (hip) were also sidelined for that one, resulting in Obi Toppin and Bennedict Mathurin combining for 56 points. Toppin will likely start again if Siakam can't suit up. However, Turner and Nesmith are off the injury report, so Toppin probably won't be as productive, even if Haliburton remains on the shelf.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

3 weeks agoIndiana Pacers forward Pascal Siakam (personal) is out on Monday night versus the Timberwolves. The Pacers just completed back-to-back contests, with the 30-year-old combining for 53 points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks during that span. However, he'll sit out on Monday night due to a personal issue. Myles Turner (hip) is questionable, so the team may be down their starting bigs against Minnesota. But as far as Siakam is concerned, Obi Toppin may slide into the starting lineup. But even if the former Knick doesn't start, he could see more work on the scoring end, especially if Turner, Tyrese Haliburton (back), and Aaron Nesmith (ankle) are ruled out.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
