1 year agoToronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam is heading into his last year of his deal and is eligible for an extension. Right now, it appears the Raptors main focus is re-signing Fred VanVleet and Jakob Poeltl. It sounds like multiple teams have contacted the Raptors about Siakam being available. Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans and Sacramento have reportedly all made calls about Siakam. The Raptors listened to the offers, but don't appear to be openly shopping the All-Star forward. Honestly, it's hard to read what the Raptors are trying to do. Possibly, the organization is listening to offers, but won't make a move unless they get blown away with an offer. They have no reason to move Siakam right now with him still being under contract for one more season. The 29-year-old has made it clear he wants to play in Toronto, so maybe he's fine with waiting for an extension.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
