Pascal Siakam, Chris Boucher Ruled Out For Thursday’s Contest
Pascal Siakam (shoulder) and center Chris Boucher (knee) join teammates Fred VanVleet (hip), Kyle Lowry (rest) and OG Anunoby (calf) as significant absences for Thursday's game versus Chicago. Boucher played Tuesday without any of the aforementioned injured players and was the focal point of the offense; without him, Gary Trent Jr. and Malachi Flynn stand to see massive workloads, while Khem Birch, Stanley Johnson and Yuta Watanabe are all candidates to get increased run in the frontcourt. With Toronto officially eliminated from playoff contention, they have little incentive to rush Siakam, Boucher and Co. back into action for either Friday or Sunday's contest.
