Parker Mushinski Has Made 10 Rehab Appearances
1 year agoHouston Astros left-hander Parker Mushinski (spine) has pitched in 10 minor-league rehab games at Triple-A Sugar Land and has posted a 2.61 ERA. He has allowed three earned runs on six hits while walking three and striking out 13 batters in 10 1/3 innings pitched. The 27-year-old southpaw was pulled off his rehab assignment for a few weeks due to a setback of his lumbar spine muscle spasms, but he has returned to action down on the farm. Mushinski appears to be healthy now and could come off the injured list soon to rejoin the Astros' bullpen. He has yet to appear in a major-league game in 2023 after making his big-league debut in 2022, when he allowed three runs on five hits while walking three and striking out eight in 7 1/3 relief innings.
