Parker Meadows Cleared To Begin Throwing Program
34 seconds agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Parker Meadows (arm) has been officially cleared to begin a throwing program according to the team. In addition to the throwing program, the team announced he has been working on completing conditioning, defensive drills and has been progressing with hitting daily. The 25-year-old was placed on the 60-day IL in March due to a nerve issue in his throwing arm. He's not expected to return to action until May at the earliest. In his absence, expect Zach McKinstry to continue to get the lion's share of playing time. McKinstry has posted up a 124 OPS+ on the short season, making him a strong target for fantasy managers and DFS players alike.
