3 weeks agoThe Carolina Panthers dealt star wide receiver Diontae Johnson to the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday. With the Panthers essentially playing for nothing at this point, many wondered if they would trade any other veterans. Running back Chuba Hubbard and cornerback Jaycee Horn have topped the list of potential trade targets for a while. However, it sounds like the Panthers are not planning to deal either player. The Panthers need to hold on to as much talent as they can. Both Horn and Hubbard are 25 years old or younger. Horn has played well when healthy and Hubbard has been excellent as the Panthers' lead back in 2024 despite the ineptitudes of the offense. Hubbard has rushed for 593 yards and three touchdowns this season. He currently sits at No. 5 in rushing yards in the league. For fantasy purposes, a trade would not necessarily be welcome for Hubbard if he were to wind up in a committee given how well he has performed in his current situation.--Quincy Milton III - RotoBaller
