5 years agoCarolina Panthers linebacker Bruce Irvin (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 1 against the Rams. For a Panthers team that struggled to get to the opponent's quarterback in 2018, this isn't a good sign against a Rams team with a high-flying passing attack. Carolina's D/special teams could be good as a bye-week filler later in the season, but they aren't a recommended starting option to start the regular season this Sunday in a daunting matchup.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
