10 hours agoThe Philadelphia Eagles defense held the Los Angeles Rams to 20 points, racked up five sacks, and recovered a fumble during the team's 37-20 win on Sunday night. This was the seventh game in a row where the team has held the opposing offense to 20 points or fewer scored and less than 300 yards gained in total. Since the bye, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has made this unit into one of the best in football and it has led to solid success for fantasy purposes. It will be tough to suggest streaming the Eagles next week against Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, but they are a great stash with the Panthers, Steelers, and Cowboys on the schedule in three of the four weeks after.Source: ESPN
10 hours agoPhiladelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott hit three field goals from 21, 26, and 31 yards away and converted all four extra point attempts during the team's 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams. After his worst performance of the season in Week 11, the veteran kicker was perfect in LA Sunday night and had a solid fantasy performance. Predicting Elliott's big games has been tough this season, but the Eagles offense has been more conservative as of late and has decided to take points when they can rather than go for it on fourth down. Elliott remains boom-or-bust but will be a streamer in any game the Eagles play poor defenses.Source: ESPN
10 hours agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught four of five targets for 19 yards during the team's 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night. Many were hopeful that the 29-year-old would do more with DeVonta Smith (hamstring) ruled out, but this game was dominated by Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, and no one else. The target share was good enough to keep firing him up in good matchups, but because of the star power Philadelphia has, Goedert will remain boom-or-bust heading into Week 13's showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.Source: ESPN
10 hours agoCarolina Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks debuted in his first game but wasn't very involved in the 30-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The rookie saw eight percent of the offensive snaps and registered two carries for seven yards with no work in the passing game. Due to a big first-half deficit, the Panthers were forced to abandon the run and the backfield as a whole only produced 85 total yards. Brooks will likely see some added snaps moving forward, but fantasy managers will want to be cautious with the split between him and Chuba Hubbard.Source: ESPN
10 hours agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown caught six of seven targets for 109 yards and a touchdown during the team's 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams. The 27-year-old hit paydirt for the first time since Week 7 and snapped his fantasy cold streak of four weeks with a great performance in a game where the Eagles dominated. Saquon Barkley was the top headline maker in this game, but Brown deserves a ton of credit for how his presence is enough to throw off a defense and make stopping both him and Barkley near impossible. DeVonta Smith (hamstring) did miss this game and may miss next week as well, leaving Brown with a juicy matchup against the Ravens.Source: ESPN
10 hours agoTampa Bay Buccaneers safety Jordan White (pectoral) may have suffered a torn pec in the Week 12 win over the New York Giants, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The seventh-year defensive back will undergo an MRI to confirm if it is torn, and his season will be over if that is the case. He's started in all 11 games this season and racked up 76 total tackles (47 solo), two tackles for loss, one QB hit, and three passes defended. The Bucs signed Mike Edwards last week, so he'll likely move into the starting spot if Whitehead misses the rest of the year.Source: Ian Rapoport
10 hours agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell took five carries for 22 yards and a score in the team's 30-27 win over the Los Angeles Rams In Week 12. While starter Saquon Barkley had a historic night, the 25-year-old backup found success when spelling the superstar back and capped off his night with a 13-yard run to the end zone. Barkley was the first to run out and celebrate with him. Gainwell has no real weekly value at the moment, but it is evident that he is the clear-cut backup to Barkley and should be considered the handcuff in all fantasy formats.Source: ESPN
10 hours agoArizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride had a monster day in the 16-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. McBride caught 12 passes for 133 yards and was perhaps the Cardinals' only bright spot on offense. He received a team-leading 15 targets, and the team's point of emphasis was to get him the ball as all other aspects of the game fell apart. McBride has been one of the most consistent performers in fantasy football this season, and with that target share, he will likely continue to put up huge numbers. McBride will remain in starting lineups heading into the Cardinals' Week 13 road matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.Source: ESPN.com
10 hours agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray failed to find the end zone through the air or on the ground in a 16-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The Cardinals' offense lacked consistency all day and couldn't convert enough third downs to score any touchdowns. Although the offense moved the ball more effectively in the second half, Murray ended up with 285 yards passing, but a backbreaking interception returned for a touchdown limited the Cardinals' chances of taking the lead. The Cardinals will travel to Minnesota next week to face the stout Vikings defense, which could lower expectations for Murray, though he should still be started in most league formats.Source: ESPN.com
10 hours agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley took 26 carries for 255 yards and two touchdowns, adding four receptions on as many targets for 47 yards during the team's 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams. This was the most rushing yards in a single game in Eagles history and the ninth-most all-time in the NFL. The 27-year-old ripped off multiple 70-plus yard touchdowns and tallied more yards on his own than the entirety of the Rams offense on Sunday night. Over the past two weeks, Barkley has 401 rushing yards and four touchdowns. The MVP award needs to be in the conversation when talking about the veteran back, and he will face off against the league's other top-tier running back next week when the Eagles travel to Baltimore to take on Derrick Henry and the Ravens.Source: ESPN
10 hours agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 15 of 22 passes for 179 yards and a score, adding 12 carries for 39 yards during the team's 37-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night. The 26-year-old played a solid game, making a few great throws to wide receiver A.J. Brown, but finished with just one touchdown for the second week in a row. Saquon Barkley has a lot to do with that, as he carried this offense tallying 302 total yards and two touchdowns. The touchdowns will come for Hurts, and with his low turnover rate since the team's Week 5 bye, the veteran quarterback has a relatively safe fantasy floor in any matchup with one of the highest ceilings of any at the position. Continue to fire him up confidently as he heads to Baltimore to take on the Ravens next week.Source: ESPN
15 hours agoKansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray caught four passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns in the 30-27 win over the Carolina Panthers. Gray has caught four passes and two touchdowns in the past two games. With defenses focused on Travis Kelce, DeAndre Hopkins, and Xavier Worthy, Gray has found himself open for Patrick Mahomes. The 25-year-old has been a valuable safety outlet for Mahomes lately, but this production level is far from sustainable. Gray will try his best to score again next week against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders rank 32nd in fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends this season, making them the easiest matchup for Gray to perform against. Despite his recent scoring success, Gray is not a significant option in the offense yet and is best left on the waiver wire.Source: Kansas City Chiefs - Twitter
15 hours agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy reeled in four catches for 46 yards in the 30-27 win over the Carolina Panthers. Before Week 11, Worthy had not surpassed 45 receiving yards in a game since Week 4. The rookie receiver has now accomplished that feat in back-to-back games. Worthy appears to be carving out a more consistent role in the Kansas City passing attack, and that is encouraging heading into the team's Black Friday matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders rank seventh in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers this season, but Courtland Sutton just had a massive performance against the Vegas secondary in Week 12. It will be interesting to see if this baseline production continues next week. That said, fantasy managers should be encouraged by Worthy's production lately and know that the big plays could be coming soon.Source: Kansas City Chiefs - Twitter
15 hours agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins caught five passes for 35 yards and a touchdown in the 30-27 win over the Carolina Panthers. Hopkins finished second on the team in catches and tied for second in targets in this contest. The 32-year-old averaged just seven yards per catch, meaning he was utilized closer to the line of scrimmage. Hopkins will look to improve his stat line next week against the Las Vegas Raiders, who rank seventh in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers this season. Despite being seventh in points allowed, the Las Vegas defense just gave up 97 yards and two touchdowns to Courtland Sutton in Week 12. Fantasy managers should be excited to see what kind of performance Hopkins will put up on Black Friday, especially with Patrick Mahomes playing better lately.Source: Kansas City Chiefs - Twitter
15 hours agoKansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt had 16 carries for 68 yards in the team's 30-27 win over the Carolina Panthers. Despite facing one of the easiest matchups for running backs, Hunt managed under 70 rushing yards and zero touchdowns in this contest. This game may have been Hunt's last with zero competition out of the backfield since Isiah Pacheco will likely return in Week 13. Nevertheless, the Chiefs play on Black Friday against the Las Vegas Raiders, who rank 26th in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs this season. Hunt could still be involved out of the backfield if the Chiefs decide to lighten Pacheco's workload in his first game back from a broken leg. Fantasy managers should still find a way to get Hunt into their lineups but temper expectations with Pacheco returning.Source: Deepak Chona - Twitter
