4 days agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce owns the largest percentage of his team's air yards (28.15%), but not only that, he leads the entire NFL in average depth of target (21.25) -- and it isn't even close. The downside for him is that he's received just four targets or less in eight of 11 contests. On the bright side, the 24-year-old usually makes the most of it, leading his team in reception yards (although Josh Downs is not far behind despite playing two fewer games) while recording a 30-plus yard reception in five of 11 weeks. Pierce figures to earn his usual share of deep shots in Week 12's matchup against the Lions, especially if the Colts -- who are seven-point underdogs -- find themselves trailing late in the game. The former second-round draft pick ranks in the WR5 range this week, but with his four TDs on the season, the third-year pro does possess some upside.Source: ESPN
4 days agoDetroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs heads into Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts as a consistent RB1 option for fantasy managers. Gibbs has been electric, finishing as the RB6 last week after turning 12 touches into 123 total yards and a touchdown. He's a Top-6 RB in total fantasy points this season and ranks fifth in rushing yards, demonstrating his ability to maximize his opportunities. The Colts present a favorable matchup, ranking 28th against the run while allowing the sixth-most rushing yards per game and the second-most rushing attempts. Gibbs has scored five touchdowns in his last five games and surpassed 100 scrimmage yards six times this season. Working in tandem with David Montgomery, Gibbs remains a dynamic playmaker and should be locked in as an RB1 for Week 12.Source: RotoBaller
4 days agoDetroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff heads into Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts riding high after his best performance of the season last week. Goff ranks among the league's best in key metrics, leading all quarterbacks in yards per attempt while sitting second in passer rating and fifth in CPOE. The Colts defense has shown improvement recently but remains vulnerable, allowing the ninth-most completions and eighth-most passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. While Indy has tightened up since Week 6, Goff's efficiency and the Lions' offensive weapons should keep him in the mix as a solid QB1 option. With Detroit's potent scoring offense averaging 31.6 points per game, Goff is poised to remain productive for fantasy managers again in Week 12.Source: RotoBaller

4 days agoSeattle Seahawks tight end AJ Barner has enjoyed a few weeks as the starter, but fellow tight end Noah Fant (groin) was a full participant in practice on Friday and is trending toward playing in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. Barner did not do much with his opportunities, but he earned at least four targets in each of his last two games. As a rookie tight end, Barner is better suited as a blocker for now. During his time as a starter, he displayed solid pass-catching chops and escape ability so he could emerge later in his career. If Fant is a surprise inactive on Sunday, then Barner would still not likely deserve much attention in fantasy. His best outing was a 6.7-point game in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams. That does not exactly get it done in fantasy. If you have Fant, then pay close attention to Barner just in case you need a last-minute dart throw. Otherwise, Barner should be on waivers.Source: Brady Henderson

4 days agoSeattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf should have a strong game in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are a middle-of-the-road matchup for wide receivers in fantasy but Metcalf has been excellent for much of the season. He tends to also have strong showings against Arizona given that he faces them twice a year. The Seahawks moved to a more run-heavy attack in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. They wound up winning the game so that may be prescriptive moving forward. As such, Metcalf could see a dip in volume but he still earned nine targets in Week 11. This game should be close, but Metcalf is still in prime position to succeed as the team's No. 1 wide receiver. He should also be much healthier this week now that he is several weeks removed from his MCL sprain. Fire up Metcalf as a WR2 in Week 12.Source: RotoBaller

4 days agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith is in a great position to succeed against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12. The Cardinals are allowing 218.5 passing yards per game which is No. 21 in the league. The Seahawks were much more efficient as an offense and displayed balance in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers. If the team made substantial changes during their Week 10 bye, then Smith should be able to take advantage of this positive matchup. The Cardinals roll into Seattle hot off a four-game winning streak and will be well-rested after a Week 11 bye. However, the Seahawks' receiving core should be fully healthy with wide receiver DK Metcalf off the injury report. Smith should be able to pass for over 200 yards and deliver a couple of touchdowns. In a week in which six teams are on a bye, Smith deserves to be in fantasy lineups.Source: RotoBaller
4 days agoSeattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III is a high-end RB2 in Week 12. The Seahawks host the Arizona Cardinals who are the No. 25 defense against opposing running backs in fantasy. Walker has been held in check of late in fantasy, but this is a great matchup for him to get things going. His volume continues to be excellent, particularly his passing game usage. It is only a matter of time before Walker begins to hit on big plays once again. As long as the Seahawks keep this game close, Walker has a chance to push for 20 carries. He should see around three targets as well. Additionally, the Seahawks made an effort to be more balanced in Week 11 after having time to evaluate their offense after their Week 10 bye. As a result, the offense was more efficient, and Walker had plenty of touches. Look for the Seahawks to strive for the same balance in Week 12 and for Walker to deliver for fantasy.Source: RotoBaller
4 days agoThe Seattle Seahawks defense/special teams showed up against a talented San Francisco 49ers offense in Week 11 but should be left on waivers in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals are No. 10 against opposing D/STs in fantasy. Their offense has been relatively inconsistent this season, but they always are a threat to score 30 or more points. The Seahawks' defense is getting healthier as the season wears on, but they are still difficult to trust in fantasy. The run defense for the Seahawks has been especially problematic and the Cardinals have the fifth-best running game in the league. The Seahawks are likely to be torn up by running backs James Conner and Trey Benson in this game. They are not worth the risk in Week 12.Source: Brady Henderson
4 days agoSeattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers could have a solid outing in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals. With the Seahawks likely able to move the ball well against the Cardinals, Myers should be in plenty of solid scoring positions. Myers matched his season high with 12 fantasy points against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. With the Seahawks looking more cohesive on offense last week, the arrow could be pointing up for Myers. Myers has connected on 14 of 17 field goals this year, including five from over 50 yards. His accuracy has not been an issue; however, his opportunities have. He should continue to display his talent this week. With six teams on a bye, Myers is a solid target as a fill-in attached to a good offense.Source: RotoBaller
4 days agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed has been a volatile pass-catching option for the Packers but looks to be on the good side of variance as the Packers host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Reed followed up a Week 9 where he had 113 receiving yards with a dud outing after the team's Week 10 bye. With just two receptions and 23 yards, Reed's performance was very disappointing, but at the very least, he did catch a touchdown to soften the blow. Against slot receivers, the 49ers have been incredibly stout, allowing just the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game. While Reed is the most dynamic pass-catching weapon the Packers have, he hasn't been immune to the team's offensive struggles. For Week 12, Reed is a low-end WR2 that we know has the upside for much more.Source: RotoBaller
4 days agoGreen Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (quadricep, calf) will suit up for the Packers in Week 12 after practicing in a limited fashion on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Jacobs was left off the injury report for their matchup with the San Francisco 49ers this week, and he could have some success against a 49ers' run defense that is much more susceptible. The 49ers are just 17th in EPA per rush attempt this season and since Week 6, have the second-highest missed-tackle rate since Week 6 and a middle-of-the-road success rate allowed (13th). Jacobs has been reliant on volume for the most part and that's been readily available to him this season in Green Bay. He'll be incredibly important for the Packers if they are to have success, so Jacobs could be in line for solid production as a back end RB1 for fantasy purposes.Source: RotoBaller
4 days agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) has been removed from the team's final Week 12 injury report on Friday and will play on Sunday versus the division-rival New England Patriots at Hard Rock Stadium. Hill was limited in practice on Wednesday and Friday while being a full-go on Thursday. He's reportedly dealing with a torn wrist ligament but hasn't missed any games because of it and should be considered a must-start in fantasy lineups this weekend. The eight-time Pro Bowler has a disappointing season line to this point (44-523-3) for his standards, but he's found the end zone in each of the last two weeks and appears to be finding his rhythm with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa again. The 30-year-old speedster has a good matchup on tap against a Patriots defense that has been a top-12 matchup for receivers this year in terms of half-PPR points allowed per game.Source: MiamiDolphins.com
