He has been cleared for Saturday's tilt after missing Thursday's matchup against the Philadelphia Flyers due to an illness. The Russian star will re-enter the lineup on the second line, with Yanni Gourde starting the game on the first line instead of him. Kucherov will try to avoid his first three-game pointless streak of the season. 3 weeks agoColumbus Blue Jackets winger Yegor Chinakhov will re-enter the lineup for Saturday's tilt against the New York Rangers. He was scratched in favor of Christian Fischer on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights. Fischer was ineffective in the game, finishing with zero shots on goal and a minus-one rating in a 4-0 loss. Columbus will send him back to the press box on Saturday. Chinakhov has tallied seven goals and 14 points in 25 games this season. He was among Columbus' top forwards early in the season before sustaining a back injury. The Russian forward has not registered any points since returning to the lineup last week. He has been limited to 12:12 of ice time per game. He was unavailable for Wednesday's clash against the Seattle Kraken due to an arm injury. Patrik Laine took Armia's spot in the lineup, returning from an illness. On Saturday, Michael Pezzetta is expected to make way for Armia in the lineup. The Finnish forward will partner Emil Heineman and Jake Evans on the fourth line. He exited early on Thursday against the Boston Bruins due to a hip injury, but the Senators captain will not have to miss any additional time. He has missed eight games due to an upper-body injury. Fox should reclaim his spot on the first defensive pairing and the top power-play unit. K'Andre Miller's fantasy value will take a hit with Fox's return. Before his injury, Fox registered points in seven consecutive contests. In the second frame, he would tack on the secondary assist on Brandon Montour's goal. Later in the third, Tolvanen would score the empty-netter to put the game out of reach. This performance pushed him over the 20-goal mark for the first time in his career. This outing also extended his point streak to three games. In the second period, Connor would score his second goal of the evening, this time with a slap shot. During this contest, Connor held a +2 rating and logged four shots on goal. Draisaitl scored his first goal in the second frame on a slap shot. Later in overtime, Draisaitl scored the game-winner on a snap shot. This performance extended his point streak to an incredible 17 games. During this stretch, Draisaitl has scored 14 goals and added 12 helpers. He has posted a 5-1-2 record since becoming ever-present in the crease. Over the course of the season, Vejmelka has gone 18-16-6 with one shutout. He has allowed 2.47 goals while posting a .909 save percentage. He will make his 40th start of the campaign as the Flames welcome the NHL's sixth-highest scoring team to town. After winning only one decision in February, Wolf has returned to form this month, posting a 2-0-2 record with 1.93 goals-against average, a .933 save percentage, and one shutout. The rookie netminder boasts three shutouts for the season and has impressed with a 22-12-5 record. Wolf has given up 2.53 goals in 2024-25 with a .915 save percentage. On Friday against the Colorado Avalanche, the Swedish veteran will miss his first regular-season game since 2020-21. Calgary will also be without Connor Zary (suspension) on Friday, giving Dryden Hunt and Adam Klapka a chance to play. They will likely be limited to bottom-six minutes and should remain on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues. He has sustained an upper-body injury after turning heads last week with a four-game goal streak. The 23-year-old became only the third rookie in franchise history to have a goal streak of at least four games. For the season, Colangelo has posted six goals and seven points in 20 games.
