Jack Leiter Sharp In Rehab Outing On Tuesday
Jack Leiter (finger) tossed 4 1/3 shutout innings in his rehab outing on Tuesday against Triple-A Las Vegas. Leiter allowed just one hit and one walk. He struck out four. The former second overall pick has been on the injured list due to a blister since his start on April 2. However, given his strong rehab outing, he could be in line to return to Texas before the end of the week. Before his injury, Leiter was enjoying a strong start to the season and had logged 10 innings of one-run ball with a stellar 10:1 K:BB. This was a great sign, as the Vanderbilt product has struggled with his command throughout his minor-league career and during his first MLB stint last season. In 2024, Leiter made his MLB debut but held an 8.83 ERA with a 1.71 WHIP. Given his progress this season, he should be viewed as a solid option in all formats when he is activated off the injured list.Source: MiLB.com
Texas Rangers pitching prospect Agustin Ramirez Hits Two Doubles On Tuesday
Agustin Ramirez went 3-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI, and a walk during their 4-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday evening. Ramirez made his MLB debut on Monday and has enjoyed an impressive start to his MLB career. Over his first two games, Ramirez has gone 5-for-6 with three doubles, two walks, one stolen base, and no strikeouts. Given his impressive start, fantasy managers should expect the No. 4-ranked prospect in the Miami system to continue to see the majority of starts behind the dish. Earlier in the season, Ramirez held a solid .252/.313/.479 slash line with seven doubles and three long balls in just 19 games. Last season, Ramirez hit 25 home runs and swiped 22 bags in 126 MiLB games. Given his five-category upside at the catcher position, he should be viewed as a strong option in standard formats heading into his matchup on Wednesday against Cincinnati right-hander Brady Singer.Source: MLB.com

Bryan Reynolds Busy In Tuesday's Victory
Bryan Reynolds went 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and a walk during their 9-3 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday evening. Reynolds would hit three singles in this game. In the ninth inning, Reynolds would conclude his evening with a two-run single, which scored outfielder Tommy Pham and infielder Isiah Kiner-Falefa. This was Reynolds' second-straight three-hit game and third three-hit game over his last four games. During this offensive surge, Reynolds has posted an impressive .526/.550/.684 slash line with just one extra-base hit. However, before this impressive run, Reynolds was in a slump, hitting just .179 over his previous eight games. Given his recent hot stretch, the 30-year-old switch-hitter should be viewed as a strong play in DFS on Wednesday, facing Los Angeles right-hander Jack Kochanowicz.Source: MLB.com
Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Brandon Pfaadt Sharp In Tuesday's Victory
Brandon Pfaadt tossed six innings of one-run ball en route to earning the victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday evening. Pfaadt allowed just four hits and walks. He struck out five batters. His lone blemish came in the second frame when outfielder Jake Mangum would hit an RBI single to center field, which scored Kameron Misner. This is another impressive outing for Pfaadt. Over his last three starts, the 26-year-old has logged 17 2/3 innings to the tune of a stellar 1.02 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP. During this stretch, he has allowed just four free passes, but has only struck out 14 batters. In his first two starts of the season, he posted a modest 5.25 ERA with a 1.08 WHIP. Given his recent stretch of performances, he remains a strong play in all standard formats in his next scheduled start against the Atlanta Braves.Source: MLB.com
Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Kyle Tucker Tallies Three Hits, Launches Home Run No. 7
Kyle Tucker continued his impressive start to the campaign on Tuesday evening as he went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and two stolen bases during their victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers. In the opening frame, Tucker would hit a single to center field, swipe second base, and score on a Seiya Suzuki double. In the following frame, Tucker would tally his second single and proceed to steal second base once again. Tucker would launch a two-run shot in the eighth inning off Dodger deliver Alex Vesia, which also scored Ian Happ. Over his previous nine games, Tucker has held a .314/.381/.622 line with one double, two triples, and two home runs. He remains a must-start option and top play in DFS as he continues his incredible start to his Cubs tenure.Source: MLB.com
Chicago Cubs outfielder Kris Bubic Tosses Seven Shutout Innings In No-Decision
Kris Bubic was sharp in his outing on Tuesday evening against the Colorado Rockies. Bubic logs seven shutout innings. He allowed just four hits, no walks, and struck out six batters. However, Kansas City closer Carlos Estevez blew the save opportunity in the ninth inning, which prevented Bubic from picking up the victory. Bubic has enjoyed an impressive start to the season, logging 31 innings to the tune of a stellar 1.45 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP. He has served up just nine free passes and struck out 33 batters. He has not allowed an earned run in three of his five outings. Last summer, Bubic spent his time in the bullpen but flashed strong upside, which allowed him to open the campaign in the rotation. Given his impressive start, he remains a must-start option in all formats heading into his next outing against the Houston Astros.Source: MLB.com
Kansas City Royals left-handed pitcher Aaron Judge Tallies Four Hits On Tuesday
Aaron Judge went 4-for-4 with a double, a run, and a stolen base during their 3-2 loss to the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday evening. Judge would hit his double in the sixth inning and would score on a Paul Goldschmidt sacrifice fly. He would tally his third single of the game in the eighth inning and then proceed to swipe second base, but could not cross home plate a second time. This extended Judge's current hitting streak to four games. Over his previous 11 contests, the 32-year-old has only gone hitless once and posted an impressive .488/.571/.659 slash line with four doubles and one long ball. Through 24 games, Judge has gone deep seven times and holds an impressive .411 AVG. He remains a top option in DFS and a must-start option in all formats.Source: MLB.com

George Klassen Strikes Out Nine In Latest Double-A Start
George Klassen tossed 5 1/3 shutout innings for Double-A Rocket City on Tuesday, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out nine batters. It marked the third consecutive dominant outing from the righty, who yielded just one earned run on 11 hits and three walks while striking out 22 over those three starts (13 1/3 innings). The 6-foot-2 hurler could pitch his way to Triple-A by season's end, but he isn't expected to make his big-league debut until sometime in 2026. Still, with a 34.9 percent strikeout rate in 26 minor-league starts, the Angels' third-ranked prospect is a player dynasty managers should be keeping tabs on.Source: MiLB.com

Bailey Falter Leaves Outing On Tuesday With Back Tightness
Bailey Falter (back) was removed from his start early on Tuesday against the hosting Los Angeles Angels due to lower-back tightness, according to the team. Falter is currently being treated by the team's medical staff, and the Pirates will provide an update on his condition when new information becomes available. Before departing the contest in Anaheim, Falter had allowed three earned runs on five hits (one homer) while walking none and striking out five in four innings (65 pitches). It's anyone's guess as to whether the 27-year-old southpaw will be able to make his next scheduled start on Sunday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Even if Falter's injury is minor and he's able to toe the rubber this weekend, fantasy managers will want to avoid him in that matchup. He has been inconsistent so far in 2025 and entered Tuesday's outing with a 4.91 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in his four starts.Source: Pittsburgh Pirates
Pittsburgh Pirates left-hander Leodalis De Vries Hits For Cycle, Collects Eight RBI On Tuesday
Leodalis De Vries had a monster day at the plate for High-A Fort Wayne on Tuesday, completing the cycle in a 5-for-5 performance. The 18-year-old collected a single, a double, a triple, and two home runs to go along with eight RBI and two runs scored. The effort pushed his season slash line to .294/.351/.608 through 13 games. The Padres' top prospect (MLB No. 17) held his own as a 17-year-old at Single-A last season and now appears to be doing the same at High-A. If he continues to hit, expect to see him test his mettle at Double-A by season's end, although it may be a couple of years before he sees the majors. Nevertheless, still so young and with so much potential, dynasty managers should be keeping a close eye on the switch-hitter's progression.Source: MiLB.com
San Diego Padres infield prospect Jeferson Quero To Resume Baseball Activities
Jeferson Quero (hamstring, shoulder) has resumed baseball activities as he continues his return from multiple injuries. The Venezuelan backstop made one plate appearance last season before going down with a shoulder injury that required surgery, then suffered a hamstring injury in spring training this year. Whenever the 22-year-old gets back in the lineup, it is expected to be with Triple-A Nashville, but the Brewers' top prospect (MLB No. 44) should make his major-league debut at some point later this year. However, after missing so much time and with William Contreras locked in at catcher, there is no need to rush it. With a 16-homer campaign under his belt in just 90 games in 2023, there is some pop in his bat, so fantasy managers needing catcher help will want to monitor his progression, although he is known more for his work behind the plate than his offense.Source: Adam McCalvy
