The Minnesota Vikings have waived offensive linemen Trevor Reid and defensive back NaJee Thompson. Reid, soon to be 25, was on his third team in two seasons (Falcons, Eagles) but has yet to garner a snap since signing as an undrafted free agent with Philadelphia in 2023. He was waived with a non-football injury designation. Thompson, on the other hand, followed a similar path to the NFL, though the Vikings were the team that signed him. He appeared in 15 games two seasons ago, logging seven tackles (five solo) and a fumble recovery. However, he spent all of 2024 on Injured Reserve after suffering a knee injury in January. The 24-year-old was waived after failing a physical, as his knee has yet to fully recover.Lions Release Jake Fromm
Jake Fromm ahead of this weekend's draft. Their roster now sits at 73 players. The 26-year-old has hopped around the league over his five-year career, serving stints with the Lions, Commanders, Giants, and Bills -- the team that selected him in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In three career appearances (one start), he racked up 210 passing yards and a 1:3 TD:INT ratio on a 45% completion percentage, chipping in 65 yards on eight rush attempts. The 26-year-old hasn't seen in-game action since the 2021 season during his time with the Giants. Fromm signed a Futures contract with Detroit back in January, but their recent acquisition of quarterback Kyle Allen must have eased them enough to cut ties with him.Source: Erik Schlitt
Per the team, the Detroit Lions have released quarterback Cameron Young Let Go By Seattle
Source: John Boyle
On Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks waived defensive tackle Cameron Young after two years with the team. Seattle drafted the Mississippi State alum in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. In the ensuing season, he appeared in 16 games for the organization (one start). However, he'd suit up for a lone contest in 2024. Young tallied 18 tackles (ten solo), one tackle-for-loss, and one QB hit during his time with the Seahawks. Seattle's roster now sits officially at 67 players, allowing them the flexibility to select and sign up to 23 additional athletes over this weekend's draft. They currently hold ten picks, including five in the top 92.Detroit Makes Kerby Joseph The Highest-Paid Safety In League History
Source: Ari Meirov
The Detroit Lions have agreed with defensive back Kerby Joseph on a four-year, $86 million extension, per Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. Joseph's new contract ties him to Detroit through the 2029 season, making him the highest-paid safety in NFL history. The Illinois product led his team and the league last year with nine interceptions and placed third on the Lions with 83 total tackles. He's missed just two games in his three years with the organization, notching at least 74 takedowns and four interceptions in each campaign. The 24-year-old played 99% of the team's defensive snaps in 2024 and will again be a pivotal asset in Detroit's defensive backfield.Broncos Not Expected To Trade Up In Round 1
Ashton Jeanty or North Carolina ball-carrier Omarion Hampton, but the team is not expected to trade up in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. "Denver is comfortable with sticking at pick No. 20 and selecting the player it wants — or trading back," Russini wrote. "I heard the Broncos love some of the running backs, but not enough to move up." While Jeanty or Hampton would have tremendous fantasy football upside in Sean Payton's offense, the 2025 rookie running back class is strong and loaded with depth, so Denver could opt to pick one in Round 2 or 3 if Hampton is already off the board when their No. 20 overall selection rolls around.Source: Dianna Russini -- The Athletic
The Denver Broncos have been rumored to be interested in Boise State running back Texans Trying To Move Up In Round 1 Of NFL Draft
C.J. Stroud in the 2023 NFL Draft. Houston holds the No. 25 pick on Thursday and could get aggressive to add wide receiver or offensive line help on Day 1. While Houston won a playoff game last season, its offense took a step back in Year 2 under Stroud thanks to protection and injury concerns. With sights set on a Super Bowl run during Stroud's rookie deal, don't be surprised if Houston goes all in on a big-time prospect.Source: Dianna Russini -- The Athletic
The Houston Texans are actively making calls in an attempt to move up in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. General manager Nick Caserio has executed 18 total draft-day trades since taking the job in 2021, most notably trading up for Will Anderson after taking James Pearce Jr., Mike Green Potential Top Targets For Falcons
Source: Dianna Russini -- The Athletic
Tennessee edge rusher James Pearce Jr. and Marshall edge rusher Mike Green are in play for the Atlanta Falcons with the No. 15 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. The Falcons have ranked 31st or 32nd in total sacks three times over the last four seasons, and pass-rush help is the most glaring need for the organization. Pearce was a first-team All-SEC selection in 2023 and 2024 and compiled 17.5 sacks, one interception, and three forced fumbles over the last two seasons. Green, who began his career at Virginia, totaled 21.5 sacks and four forced fumbles since the start of the 2023 campaign for the Thunder Herd.Cowboys Could Add Wide Receiver Help With No. 12 Pick
Tetairoa McMillan and Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden are two names that "could" interest Dallas, Russini wrote. The Cowboys are set at WR1 with All-Pro standout CeeDee Lamb, but the WR2 spot has been a weakness since Amari Cooper was traded to the Cleveland Browns following the 2021 campaign. While Dallas suddenly has holes at multiple offensive positions, the arrival of a talented first-round pass-catcher would provide a boost for quarterback Dak Prescott in fantasy football. Lamb has overall WR1 upside regardless of who Dallas potentially adds to the WR room. McMillan projects as a classic X-wide receiver with contested-catch ability, while Golden is a speedster with downfield pass-catching chops.Source: Dianna Russini -- The Athletic
According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic and her sources, the Dallas Cowboys are expected to target an offensive skill player with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Arizona wideout Saints Likely To Address Defense With No. 9 Pick?
Derek Carr's shoulder injury and have been rumored to be interested in Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders or Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. However, Dianna Russini reports that New Orleans is open to taking the best player available (likely on defense) and selecting a quarterback later in the draft. Potential candidates for that pick include one of the Georgia edge rushers, Jalon Walker or Mykel Williams. Many mock drafts around the industry have slotted a quarterback for the Saints with that selection, but it sounds like that is far from a certainty, and it might even be unlikely.Source: Dianna Russini -- The Athletic

Saints Picking Up Chris Olave's Fifth-Year Option
Chris Olave's fifth-year option on Wednesday. Despite playing in a career-low eight games in 2024 in his third year in the NFL due to multiple concussions, the Saints picking up the former first-rounder's fifth-year option was a no-brainer. The 24-year-old Ohio State alumni is scheduled to make $16.8 million guaranteed on his fifth-year option in 2026. Olave cleared 1,000 yards receiving in each of his first two NFL seasons on 159 total receptions and nine touchdowns, so he has proven he has the chops to operate as a WR1 for fantasy managers when he's healthy. However, his head injuries from last year could scare many fantasy managers off this fall, as well as New Orleans' quarterback situation with Derek Carr possibly needing shoulder surgery.Source: ESPN.com - Katherine Terrell

Chiefs Talk With TreVeyon Henderson
TreVeyon Henderson on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Head coach Andy Reid was part of the call. Henderson has been rising up mock-draft boards with the start of the draft now just a day away, and the Chiefs could be looking for more explosiveness to their backfield. The 22-year-old could very easily come off the board in this year's draft in the first round, and the Chiefs hold the No. 31 overall pick. They brought back Kareem Hunt in the offseason behind starter Isaiah McKenzie and also signed Elijah Mitchell for more RB depth, but Henderson would surely give KC more explosiveness to their backfield and would likely be considered an immediate upgrade over the aging Hunt and injury-prone Mitchell. In addition to averaging 7.0 yards per attempt in 2024, Henderson caught 77 passes in his collegiate career.Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler
