3 days agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (hamstring) is expected to return to practice on Wednesday after sitting out the Week 11 divisional loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday due to hamstring irritation that he picked up in the Week 10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Kittle was "close" to playing on Sunday. Barring a setback once the 31-year-old returns to practice this week, he should be able to return in Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday. With elevated playing time against Seattle with Kittle out, Eric Saubert failed to take advantage and caught one pass for seven yards. Despite missing two games this year due to injury, Kittle is the TE2 in half-PPR scoring with 43 receptions, 560 yards and a league-leading seven touchdowns. If he's active in Week 12, he's a must-start in fantasy.Source: ESPN.com - Nick Wagoner
3 days agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) will remain sidelined for Monday's game against the Phoenix Suns, extending his absence to eight straight contests due to left plantar fasciitis. The 25-year-old, who has been a consistent contributor when on the floor, is averaging 8.3 points and 8.8 rebounds this season. In his stead, Moritz Wagner, Jonathan Isaac, and Goga Bitadze are likely to see expanded roles in the frontcourt. Carter's next opportunity to return to action will be Wednesday when the Magic face the Los Angeles Clippers.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington joined the rest of the offense on Sunday in producing very little in the 52-6 blowout loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 11. Washington was targeted three times by quarterback Mac Jones and hauled in one of the three targets for a pickup of 10 yards. The 22-year-old should have a much bigger role moving forward now that Gabe Davis (knee) has been ruled out for the season, but Washington and the rest of the Jags' offense is desperately hoping that regular QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) will be ready to return following the team's Week 12 bye. Washington, a sixth-rounder in 2023, has just one catch for 10 yards in the two games that Mac Jones has started. He has only 10 catches (18 targets) for 118 yards and no TDs in 11 games this year and will primarily be a bench stash in deep leagues the rest of the way.Source: ESPN.com
3 days agoJacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram hauled in five of his seven targets for only 28 receiving yards in the 52-6 loss to the Detroit Lions on the road on Sunday in Week 11. Outside of rookie receiver Brian Thomas Jr., who had five catches for a team-high 82 yards, nobody in Jacksonville's offense was able to produce much on a day where the team was held out of the end zone and quarterback Mac Jones threw for under 150 yards. The good news for the 30-year-old veteran tight end is that his seven targets and five receptions were both tied for the team lead with Thomas. He's also had three straight games with at least five catches, although it hasn't come with much yardage. Hopefully for Engram's sake, he'll be taking passes from quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) again after the Week 12 bye, which would vault him into firm TE1 range in fantasy.Source: ESPN.com
3 days agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. was the team's lead back in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions on Sunday with Tank Bigsby (ankle) inactive, but he wasn't able to do much with his 15 touches in the 52-6 blowout loss. Etienne finished with a team-high 12 rushing attempts for only 27 yards (2.3 yards per carry) and caught all three of his targets for just six receiving yards. On the road against a stout Lions defensive front with quarterback Mac Jones filling in for Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) for the second straight week amounted to the Jaguars' offense getting absolutely dominated all day. It was surely a disappointment for Etienne's fantasy managers that were hoping for more with Bigsby out. The 25-year-old has under 50 rushing yards in five straight games now and could be splitting carries again with Bigsby coming out of the team's Week 12 bye.Source: ESPN.com
3 days agoAs expected, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (back, shoulder) is officially active on Monday night to face off against the Houston Texans. Lamb came into Week 11 preparation nursing a shoulder injury but then popped up on the injury report on Saturday due to a back injury and was listed as questionable. The Cowboys never seemed terribly worried that Lamb would miss Monday's game, though. Although Lamb's fantasy ceiling and floor have dropped considerably with quarterback Dak Prescott (hamstring) out for the year, he still belongs in most starting fantasy lineups on a weekly basis. The 25-year-old caught six of his 10 targets for 21 yards in last week's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and will look to do better on Monday with quarterback Cooper Rush throwing him the ball. Dallas will likely have to pass frequently to keep up with Houston.Source: Fort Worth Star-Telegram - Nick Harris
3 days agoAccording to Justin Turpin of WEEI.com, Boston Celtics point guard Payton Pritchard (thumb) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Pritchard has averaged 17.3 points, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 28.8 minutes per game during his last 12 outings. He's yet to miss a contest this regular season, but if the 26-year-old cannot go, Sam Hauser will likely see an uptick in minutes on the court.Source: Justin Turpin
3 days agoWashington Wizards guard Bilal Coulibaly (head) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the New York Knicks. Coulibaly took a hit to the head during Sunday's game, so he's likely still feeling it on Monday. The Wizards don't play again until Friday after this game, so hopefully Coulibaly will be ready to play by then. Corey Kispert, Malcolm Brogdon, and Kyshawn George are all candidates to see increased playing time with Coulibaly out. Between the trio, Kispert is the strongest fantasy option right now. He's averaging 11 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 29 minutes per game this season. He should see a bigger role in the rotation until Coulibaly returns.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoDetroit Pistons guard Tim Hardaway Jr. (head) is available ahead of Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls. The veteran guard will make his return to the court after missing each of the last three games due to a head laceration. Malik Beasley has been seeing an increase in playing time with Hardaway sidelined. Beasley has scored 20 points or more in each of the last four games, so he should still remain a key piece of the rotation. Hardaway hasn't done enough on the court to warrant rostering in most fantasy formats but he might have some deep league appeal.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoDetroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey (ankle) will play during Monday's game against the Chicago Bulls. As expected, Ivey is active after being listed as probable on the injury report ahead of this game. It sounds like he's dealing with a minor ankle sprain but that won't be enough to hold him out of Monday's contest. Ivey posted 28 points and eight assists during Sunday's game. The 22-year-old has posted a few duds this season, but Ivey has mostly been solid early on. Fantasy managers should get him back in their lineups ahead of tip-off.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoCleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Caris LeVert (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Boston Celtics. He previously missed two games earlier in the season because of right knee soreness, but now he is dealing with inflammation in his left knee. With LeVert, along with Sam Merrill (ankle) and Isaac Okoro (ankle), all potentially sidelined, the Cavaliers might need to rely heavily on their bench players for Tuesday, leaving minutes on the table for Craig Porter, Georges Niang, and Ty Jerome.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (concussion) has been cleared to suit up for Monday's game against the Houston Rockets. Lillard will make his return to the court after missing each of the last three games while in the league's concussion protocol. His return will push Delon Wright back to the bench where he won't have ideal streaming value. The expectation is that Lillard will see his full workload during his first game back. Fantasy managers should feel safe about getting Lillard back in their fantasy lineups ahead of tip-off. Lillard is averaging 26 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 6.6 assists in 35 minutes per game. He has been one of the best guards in the league this season.Source: Eric Nehm
3 days agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) will play in Monday's game versus the Houston Rockets. It's not uncommon to see the 29-year-old on the injury report. But he was listed as probable, so there wasn't much concern amongst fantasy managers regarding his availability. Despite Milwaukee's struggles, Antetokounmpo has had an MVP-caliber year, averaging 32.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists. Although he's shot just 20.0% from deep and 60.5% from the line, he's a must-start in any fantasy format, obviously.Source: Eric Nehm
3 days agoCleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Sam Merrill (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Boston Celtics due to a left ankle injury. He has been sidelined for the last three games because of inflammation in his left ankle, but he could return against the defending champs. In the meantime, Craig Porter has stepped up in Merrill's absence over the last three games. Merrill will likely not be a significant contributor in fantasy if he is available to suit up.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner (calf) won't play in Monday's game versus the Toronto Raptors. The 2015 No. 11 overall pick is experiencing right calf soreness, although fantasy managers are hoping he'll be back on the floor for Wednesday's meeting with the Houston Rockets. Without Turner in the mix, Pascal Siakam may spend more time in the middle, with Obi Toppin expected to see extra work from off the bench.Source: Josh Lewenberg
3 days agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Marcus Smart (illness) is listed as questionable ahead of Tuesday's game against the Denver Nuggets. Smart missed Sunday's game, so it looks like at least a two-game absence for Smart. It's worth noting that the Grizzlies do play a back-to-back set, so hopefully Smart can return on Wednesday. Until then, Luke Kennard and Vince Williams Jr. should see more playing time off the bench. Neither player has been much of a fantasy option, but Kennard is the better choice between the two. He's a good shooter from 3-point range and dished out 11 assists in a game last week.Source: Grizzlies PR
3 days agoMemphis Grizzlies center Zach Edey (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's game against the Denver Nuggets. The rookie center suffered a left ankle sprain during Sunday's game, so Edey missing Tuesday's contest isn't a shocker. It's worth noting that the Grizzlies play back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday. That means fantasy managers might not see Edey back on the court until Saturday versus the Chicago Bulls. Jay Huff has been playing minutes in the teens, so he should see an increase in minutes going forward. He's a decent shooter from beyond the arc, but Huff doesn't offer much value outside of that. Brandon Clarke should see an uptick in minutes as well and is the better fantasy option between the two.Source: Grizzlies PR
3 days agoAccording to Philadelphia 76ers head coach Nick Nurse, center Joel Embiid (illness) will warm up and try to play in Monday's game against the Miami Heat. The multi-time MVP is under the weather, so he's currently listed as doubtful. However, even if he does suit up, it's unknown how much time he'll spend on the floor. While fantasy managers should still consider Embiid a must-start if he plays, DFS managers may want to look for other options.Source: Ky Carlin
3 days agoGolden State Warriors center Kevon Looney (illness) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The big man was questionable coming into this one, but Looney will officially sit out due to an illness. His absence won't have a huge impact on the rotation, but it should mean we see slight changes. Trayce Jackson-Davis should see more playing time in the rotation and could be a possible streaming option with more minutes. Draymond Green could also see more time at the center spot, but Jackson-Davis gains the most value from the loss of Looney.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell has been removed from the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against the Boston Celtics. The superstar guard received a rest day during Sunday's win over the Charlotte Hornets. The 28-year-old has been outstanding this season and received a much-deserved day off. Now, the undefeated Cavs head into a tough matchup against the Celtics and will definitely need Mitchell for that now. Ty Jerome will head back to the bench, so he won't have much streaming appeal with the second unit. Fantasy managers should feel comfortable getting Mitchell back in their lineups for Tuesday's contest.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoBuffalo Sabres left wing Jordan Greenway (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week. An undisclosed injury kept Greenway sidelined on Saturday versus Philadelphia, and it's now clear that he will be forced to miss multiple games. Greenway has contributed three goals and three assists in 16 outings this season while delivering 40 hits. Jiri Kulich took Greenway's spot in the lineup at the weekend but didn't do anything noteworthy in a 5-2 defeat to the Flyers. He has recorded one goal with 19 shots and eight hits in nine appearances this season.Source: Bill Hoppe
3 days agoDallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans. The 25-year-old is averaging 28.2 points, 7.8 assists, 7.8 rebounds, and 32.1% shooting from behind the arc, all down from the 2023-24 campaign. He's also been frequently mentioned on the league's official injury report nearly all season. But Doncic didn't suit up for Sunday's win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, his first absence of the season. If he misses another contest on Tuesday, Quentin Grimes and Jaden Hardy could see a bump in minutes. However, both players aren't reliable fantasy options, with the duo combining for 23 points against OKC.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoOrlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero (oblique) was only able to play a handful of games before going down at the end of October. Banchero suffered a torn right oblique muscle which came with roughly a two-month timetable to return. However, Banchero recently said that he's feeling good and that he thinks he can get back on the court before Christmas. The Magic could certainly use the help of the All-Star forward, but they aren't going to rush him back. He'll likely be re-evaluated in the coming weeks, so fantasy managers will know more information after that. For now, Jonathan Isaac and Moritz Wagner will continue seeing increased roles in the rotation. Fantasy managers should continue to hold Banchero as it sounds like he could be back in possibly a month.Source: ESPN
3 days agoMontreal Canadiens defenseman David Savard (upper body) will play against Edmonton on Monday. He was a late scratch on Saturday versus Columbus due to an upper-body injury. Savard has been offensively anonymous in 2024-25, collecting four assists in 17 games, but he's second on the team with 45 blocks and has delivered 17 hits. The veteran will take up his normal position on the second defensive pairing next to Lane Hutson. Justin Barron will head to the press box as a healthy scratch.Source: Marc Dumont
3 days agoSan Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (knee) is doubtful for Tuesday's game against OKC. The 20-year-old has a bruised right knee, keeping him off the floor for Saturday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Zach Collins got the start in his place, finishing with 20 points, six rebounds, and three blocks. Unfortunately, he shot a rough 0-for-5 from behind the arc. But with Wembanyama trending toward missing another game, Collins should be considered a starting fantasy option. There's also a good chance he'll turn his shooting woes around.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 days agoSan Jose Sharks goaltender Vitek Vanecek (upper body) will not dress for Monday's clash against Detroit. He sustained an upper-body injury against Pittsburgh on Sunday and is considered day-to-day. Playing on a struggling team, Vanecek hasn't celebrated many victories in 2024-25, going 2-5-1 while allowing 3.36 goals with a .899 save percentage. Mackenzie Blackwood, who is 3-5-3, will start Monday's game, with highly-rated prospect Yaroslav Askarov summoned from the minors to work as the backup. The Sharks have a back-to-back set later in the week, meaning Askarov might see action very soon. He has managed a 6-3-0 record in the AHL this season with a 1.92 goals-against average and a .939 save percentage.Source: Curtis Pashelka
3 days agoAccording to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, Los Angeles Clippers center Mo Bamba (knee) is questionable for Monday's contest with the Golden State Warriors due to left knee recovery. The big man made his regular season debut on Sunday, registering eight points, eight rebounds, and one assist in 15 minutes. With the Clippers in the second half of back-to-back games, the 26-year-old is likely out just for precautionary reasons. In Bamba's absence, Kai Jones and Nicolas Batum will likely see an uptick in minutes on the court.Source: Ohm Youngmisuk
3 days agoNew York Islanders defenseman Mike Reilly is scheduled for a heart procedure on Tuesday and will be out indefinitely. Reilly has missed seven games because of a concussion, and his heart condition was discovered during concussion testing. The 31-year-old is expected to continue his career following the procedure, but Islanders general manager Lou Lamoriello said on Monday that Reilly could be out for "several months." Reilly has made 11 appearances this season, failing to score a point. The Islanders have also missed Adam Pelech (upper body) and Alexander Romanov (upper body) from defense lately, but the latter might be back on Tuesday versus Calgary. Romanov is regarded as a game-time decision for the contest.Source: NHL.com
3 days agoToronto Maple Leafs center Calle Jarnkrok (lower body) has undergone groin and sports hernia surgery and will be out month-to-month. The Swedish veteran has yet to play this season, and it's possible we won't see him until 2025. Jarnkrok has offered solid production in a limited role on the Maple Leafs squad, recording 60 points (30 goals, 30 assists) in 125 games since joining the team as a free agent in 2022. The 2023-24 campaign was also marred by health issues for Jarnkrok, as he ended up skating in only 52 regular-season games.Source: ESPN
3 days agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews (upper body) is expected to miss at least one more week of action. He hasn't played since Nov. 3 due to an upper-body injury, sitting out six games. Matthews exited the lineup after notching five goals and 11 points in 13 contests. His injury has allowed Max Domi to cement a top-six spot, but he is having a really tough time. Domi hasn't scored a single goal this season and last added to his points tally nearly a month ago, in a 5-2 victory over Tampa Bay on Oct. 21. The Maple Leafs have still somehow gone 5-1-0 during Matthews' absence, averaging 3.17 goals.Source: ESPN
