2 years agoThe San Diego Padres reinstated left-hander Adrian Morejon from the COVID-19 injured list on Thursday and optioned left-hander Ryan Weathers to Triple-A El Paso in a corresponding move. Morejon has tossed two scoreless relief innings in his lone major league outing this season, and he'll likely return to a low-leverage long-relief role for the Friars, limiting his fantasy appeal. Weathers was called up to make his first start of the season for San Diego against the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday, and he got the win despite allowing four earned runs on six hits while walking four and striking out three in 3 2/3 frames.
