4 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Dinelson Lamet (forearm) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Thursday- though the team is planning for him to start as soon as he's eligible to be activated. It didn't look good when Lamet had to be removed from his first start early, but the team remains optimistic that he didn't sustain any structural damage to his throwing arm or elbow- and won't require an MRI. It sounds like this will be a short stint on the injured list for the promising 28-year-old though fantasy managers might want to wait to see if he can make it through a start healthy before committing to him in any formats.--Tim Capurso
