Padres Not Ruling Out Jose Castillo's Return
4 years agoSan Diego Padres manager Jayce Tingler said reliever Jose Castillo (lat) is "feeling much better than he was a week ago," but he's yet to throw off a mound. The southpaw suffered a teres major strain during summer camp and was labelled as a long-shot to return this season upon the diagnosis. The team remains optimistic that he'll return before the season ends, but he won't hold much fantasy relevance after missing nearly the entire 2019 campaign as well. Castillo impressed as a rookie in 2018 with 12 holds and a 34.7% K-rate, but remains solely a dynasty stash.
