Packers Rookie Wideouts Not Expected To Have Roles
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receivers J'mon Moore, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown aren't expected to have roles in Week 1 against the Bears on Sunday night, let alone even be active for the game. None of the three rookies has earned enough of quarterback Aaron Rodgers' trust heading into the season opener. Moore, the highest of the three picks in the fourth round, had an up-and-down training camp despite finishing the preseason with nine catches for 102 yards. All three of these receivers have opportunity to make noise if Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison don't impress behind Davante Adams, but it's anyone's guess which one of the trio will rise. For now, they are all just dynasty stashes.
