Packers Restructure Contracts For Randall Cobb, Adrian Amos
3 years agoThe Green Bay Packers restructured the contracts of wide receiver Randall Cobb and defensive back Adrian Amos. The move creates $10.15 million in cap space for the Packers. Cobb is entering his 12th season in the league; 10 will now have been with Green Bay. The 31-year-old will provide wide receiver depth for the Packers after catching 28 passes for 375 yards and five touchdowns over 12 games in 2021. With future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Rodgers returning to the Packers in 2022, Cobb is considered a late-round flyer as the team's WR3 in what's projected to be a high-scoring offense in 2022. Amos racked up a career-high in tackles (93) and had two interceptions across 17 regular-season appearances in 2021. The 28-year-old is locked into an every-down role as the team starting strong safety and should provide plenty of fantasy value in IDP league formats in 2022.
