Packers Expect Aaron Rodgers To Be Cleared For Week 10
3 years agoThe Green Bay Packers expect quarterback Aaron Rodgers to be cleared from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday before the team's Week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks, but second-year QB Jordan Love prepared as the starting signal-caller all week as a contingency plan in case Rodgers isn't cleared. Rodgers did not practice all week and hasn't been with the team since he tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 3. Love was forced to start in the Week 9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, but Rodgers should be back under center this Sunday. He'll be returning to face a Seahawks defense that has allowed 273.9 passing yards per game, fourth-most in the league. Rodgers can be plugged back into starting lineups as a midrange QB1, and he'll also be back with his favorite target, wide receiver Davante Adams.
