The Green Bay Packers defense will open the season on the road against the Minnesota Vikings. Last season, Green Bay only faced Kirk Cousins once due to the quarterback missing Week 17 and being placed on the Covid-IR. In that game, the Packers allowed three passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and only recorded two sacks. With the Vikings hiring former Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O'Connell as their new head coach, the offense in Minnesota should be a powerful one. Green Bay's D/ST ranked 13th overall in 2021 but was very inconsistent. With the Packers' offense no longer led by Davante Adams and Allen Lazard (ankle) likely out, the defense could struggle with poor field position in Week 1.
