Packers Defense Holds Tampa Bay To 12 Points
2 years agoThe Green Bay Packers defense held the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to 12 points, recording three sacks and forcing three fumbles while recovering two of them during the team's victory Sunday. It was a great showing against quarterback Tom Brady, but the Buccaneers were without their top three wide receivers, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Julio Jones. Green Bay did lose cornerback Jaire Alexander early in the contest to a groin injury, and head coach Matt LaFleur had no update after the game. It is a big blow to the Green Bay pass defense if Alexander misses time. With the New England Patriots coming to town next weekend, Green Bay's defense will be on the streaming radar.
