Packers Defense A Streaming Option Despite Recent Rough Patch
2 years agoThe Green Bay Packers defense will go on the road to face the Washington Commanders in Week 7. After allowing an average of only 15.8 points and generating four turnovers through the first four weeks of the season, Green Bay has allowed 27 points each of the past two weeks and has failed to take the ball away against the New York Giants and Jets. Washington is 27th in total scoring and is a favorable matchup for the Green Bay defense with starter Carson Wentz (finger) out. It is a bounce-back spot for the Packers, but they will need to generate pressure on backup Taylor Heinicke if they are to capitalize for fantasy managers that decide to stream them. Because they are middle of the pack in sacks and are ranked 30th in total turnovers, Green Bay has a low floor for fantasy, but they remain an intriguing streaming option in Week 7.
