Packers Bring Back Marcedes Lewis
5 years agoThe Green Bay Packers agreed to terms on a one-year, $2.25 million deal to re-sign tight end Marcedes Lewis on Wednesday, according to a source. The deal includes more than $1 million in guarantees. Lewis spent the last two seasons with the Packers, but he had just 18 catches for 195 yards and one touchdown over that span. Even with Jimmy Graham gone, the veteran tight end will mostly fill a blocking role at the position. If you're targeting a tight end from Green Bay in fantasy, it should be Jace Sternberger. Lewis, 36 in May, was a first-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2006.
