Pablo Lopez Takes First Loss Of Season Monday
3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez fell to 3-1 in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks. Lopez pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on six hits (including a two-run home run) and two walks with seven strikeouts. The 26-year-old has gotten off to a great start to the season overall, compiling a minuscule 1.61 ERA with 30 strikeouts and six walks over 28 IP. Lopez is shaping up to be a strong fantasy asset this season, so long as he can stay healthy. His next start will be a middling matchup at the Padres, but fantasy managers should feel comfortable starting him in most matchups moving forward.
