Pablo Lopez Allows Two Runs in Wednesday's Start
5 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits in 1 2/3 innings against a Cardinals split squad on Wednesday. Lopez was making his first Grapefruit League start of the season and couldn't make it through his scheduled two innings. He threw 36 pitches (just 22 for strikes) and hit two batters. It wasn't a great start for Lopez, but the Marlins are still expecting a lot from him this season. He's capable of being a useful piece in deeper fantasy formats when he's on, but his next few starts will be important to keep an eye on.
