P.J. Washington Ruled Out For Monday's Game
3 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward P.J. Washington (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Boston Celtics. He is dealing with a right knee sprain and is being considered day-to-day. Jalen McDaniels should see increased playing time with Washington out. We may also get a more extended look at rookie Kai Jones, who has only played two minutes so far this season. Washington is off to a rough start to the year. He's shot 27.3% from the field while averaging just 6.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Fantasy managers should remain patient with Washington, who had a solid year in 2020-21, averaging 12.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.8 threes per game.
