P.J. Washington Returns To Action With 23 Points, Four Blocks
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward P.J. Washington returned from a three-game absence on Sunday against Portland, putting together a very good line in 34 minutes off the bench in a 109-101 win with 23 points, eight rebounds, four blocks and one steal. He was feeling it from outside with a 5-for-11 effort and shot 8-for-17 overall from the field. Washington's shooting has been inconsistent all year, but he's been a major force for the Hornets on both ends of the floor and should have a strong finish to the season. He will face a tough matchup against the Knicks next, but should have a very good game on Thursday against the Bulls.
