PJ Washington Puts In Great Work Before Leaving With Injury
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets power forward PJ Washington produced his first double-double of the season on Sunday against the Nets, finishing a 106-104 win with 14 points and 12 rebounds, but unfortunately, he was forced to exit the game with an ankle injury. Washington added five assists and two steals to his double-double before leaving with a few seconds left. It's a huge blow for the Hornets if Washington is forced to miss significant time, as their frontcourt has already lost Cody Zeller (hand). Bismack Biyombo had done a decent job in Zeller's absence while Jalen McDaniels, Miles Bridges, and Cody Martin are set to get more minutes if Washington is out.
