P.J. Washington Posts Double-Double With Four Steals
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets forward P.J. Washington notched his fifth double-double of the season in a 130-121 loss to the Warriors. Washington compiled 15 points with 10 rebounds, four assists, four steals, and two triples in 29 minutes. He hasn't had a good month rebounding the basketball, so it was nice to see him bounce back with the 10 boards- and the 7 of 8 shooting from the free-throw line was a nice boost in category formats. Washington has taken a bit of a step back offensively, though he's been a sneaky-good value overall, as he's one of just six power forwards/centers averaging at least one three-pointer, one block, and one steal per game this year. Up next is a battle against the Kings, one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA.
