P.J. Washington Bounces Back With Efficient Performance
4 years agoCharlotte Hornets forward P.J. Washington had struggled to 35 percent shooting from the field in his previous two games. He put those performances in the rearview during Thursday's loss to the Raptors, as he scored 20 points on 50 percent shooting. Washington added 11 boards for his second straight double-double and blocked two shots. While shooting efficiency has been a problem this year, the second-year pro has had a great start to the year with career-highs nearly across the board. Washington has been a top-100 player in category formats, which should continue on a Hornets squad lacking in frontcourt talent. He'll look for a repeat performance against Toronto on Saturday.
