Philadelphia 76ers forward P.J. Tucker has been included in trade discussions with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. The Clippers reportedly like the way that Tucker can guard multiple positions and take on the opposing team's top scorer. As of right now, the two sides remain at a stalemate regarding a James Harden trade, but Tucker could be the piece that the Clippers want to actually part ways with more value.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Clippers forward P.J. Tucker is away from the team right now as a mutually agreed situation while the team decides how to move forward with the former NBA Champ. Tucker expressed frustration with his role on the team last season and it looks like that hasn't been resolved heading into training camp and the preseason. Both sides agreed to take some time apart while the Clippers decide if they can trade him. Tucker has an $11.5 million price tag for this season after opting into the option, so teams haven't been very interested in his level of contribution for such a high price. The new tax aprons further complicate things, so it may be a while until we see Tucker on the court again.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Clippers forward P.J. Tucker will likely remain with the team for the start of the season. The veteran was sparingly used by the team in 2023-24, and Tucker even publicly requested a trade. According to The Athletic's Law Murray, the Clippers have explored trading him in the offseason after Tucker picked up a $11.5 million player option for the 2024-25 campaign, but a deal before training camp is considered unlikely. Despite seeing big minutes on multiple teams during a lengthy career spanning nearly 900 games, Tucker has never been a productive fantasy asset, and his stock will be at an all-time low if he can't get out of L.A.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Clippers forward P.J. Tucker has accepted his $11.5 million player option for next season. This seems like a no-brainer for Tucker who probably wasn't going to get a better offer in free agency. The 39-year-old is still a reliable defender, but Tucker doesn't offer much upside on the offensive end of the ball. He'll didn't offer much fantasy value with the Clippers last season. He'll probably have a similar role with the team again, which minutes he'll likely only see minutes in the teens. That being said, fantasy managers can ignore Tucker on draft day.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Clippers forward P.J. Tucker is expected to exercise his $11.54 million player option for the 2024-25 season. Tucker had a miserable time in L.A., making only 30 appearances across the regular season and playoffs. He even requested a trade publically midseason, resulting in a $75k fine from the NBA. However, Tucker is unlikely to fetch a similar salary on the open market, making this a no-brainer decision for the veteran. Considering how things have worked out for him with the Clippers since Tucker arrived in town in the James Harden trade, it would probably suit both sides if they parted ways at the first opportunity.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
