4 months agoChicago Cubs outfield prospect Owen Caissie went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI on Thursday to continue his dominant stretch at Triple-A. Since June 21, the 34th-ranked prospect in baseball on MLB.com has posted a .300/.340/.420 line with four doubles, one triple, six RBI, and a 3:13 BB:K ratio. In this stretch, he posted four straight multi-hit games. In his first 76 games at the Triple-A level this season, the young outfielder has held a .279/.387/.443 line with eight long balls and 46 RBI. Caissie has developed quite well this year but may have to wait until next season to make his major league debut, as the Cubs have a surplus of outfielders currently on their major league roster.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
