Oscar Colas Clears Waivers, Opening Campaign At Triple-A
2 days agoChicago White Sox outfielder Oscar Colas has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to Triple-A. The White Sox designated Colas for assignment earlier this week after they claimed Greg Jones. During spring training, Colas posted a modest .250/.33/.375 slash line across 10 contests. Last season, Colas appeared in 13 contests in Chicago and posted an impressive .273/.368/.273 line. During the 2023 season, Colas made his MLB debut and held a lower .216/.257/.314 line across 75 contests. Across 170 career contests at the Triple-A level, the 26-year-old has posted a .262/.340/.433 line with 37 doubles and 22 round-trippers. Fantasy managers in deeper formats should monitor his progression at Triple-A as he could eventually contend for a return to the majors if he takes the next step with the Charlotte Knights.
