Orioles Call Up Jahmai Jones From Triple-A
3 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles called up second baseman/outfielder Jahmai Jones from Triple-A Norfolk on Monday. Richie Martin was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Jones is the team's 18th overall prospect. He was acquired by the organization this offseason in the trade that sent Alex Cobb to the Los Angeles Angels. The 24-year-old has flashed some intriguing versatility in the minors this year. Over 69 games at Triple-A, he slashed .238/.329/.417 with 10 home runs, 10 stolen bases, 35 RBI and 33 runs. He's worth keeping an eye on in all fantasy formats to see how he performs and how often the Orioles play him.
