Onyeka Okongwu Gets Four-Year Extension
1 year agoAtlanta Hawks center Onyeka Okongwu has agreed to a lengthy extension with the organization on Monday. The two sides have agreed to a four-year, $62 million extension. This goes to show how much the Hawks value their former sixth overall pick from the 2020 draft. The expectation is that Okongwu will eventually take over as the starting center in Atlanta. For now, he'll have to settle as the backup with Clint Capela as the starter. Despite that, Okongwu should still remain fantasy relevant considering he's averaged over 20 minutes per game over each of the last two seasons.
