Tampa Bay Lightning left wing Ondrej Palat scored a late game-winning goal in Friday's elimination game in the Stanley Cup Final. He tucked in his 11th goal of the postseason with 6:22 left in regulation. The Czech winger tallied a total of three shots in the game with two hits in 20:15 of ice time. Seven of Palat's goals in the 2022 postseason have come in the third period and he now sits on 12 career game-winning goals in the playoffs, which is the third-highest mark among active players. The former seventh-round pick continues to deliver in big moments for the Lightning and he will try to do it again in Game 6 on Sunday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New Jersey Devils left wing Ondrej Palat (undisclosed) will not play on Wednesday against the Detroit Red Wings. He suffered an undisclosed injury while blocking a shot in Tuesday's win over the Boston Bruins. According to Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe, Palat is still experiencing some soreness. However, the team expects it to be "something he can push through pretty quickly," so it looks like Palat could be available for the start of the postseason. The Czech veteran has made 150 appearances in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, scoring 51 goals and 100 points.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New Jersey Devils left wing Ondrej Palat (lower body) has been cleared to return to action on Monday against the Vancouver Canucks. The veteran forward has sat out a pair of games due to a lower-body injury. New Jersey will partner Palat with Dawson Mercer and Tomas Tata on the third line, and he will log power-play time with the second unit. Palat has contributed 13 goals and 12 assists in 67 games this season. However, he has been slumping offensively for a bit, going 10 games without a goal and notching only two assists during that time.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New Jersey Devils left wing Ondrej Palat (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Ottawa Senators. The two-time Stanley Cup champion will be unavailable for a second consecutive contest. In his absence, Nolan Foote has a chance to fill a middle-six role on Saturday. Foote has gone scoreless in two NHL appearances this season but has found success in the minors. Over 53 AHL appearances, he has produced 18 goals and 39 points. Palat's next opportunity to return will come on Monday against the Vancouver Canucks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

New Jersey Devils left wing Ondrej Palat (illness) is poised to rejoin the lineup for Saturday's clash against the Montreal Canadiens. Palat did not play on Wednesday against the Boston Bruins due to an illness. However, he practiced on Friday and is expected to be back in action against the Canadiens. Palat will work with Jack Hughes and Paul Cotter on the first line. The Czech veteran boasts 10 goals and 19 points in 48 games for the year. A spot on the first line next to Hughes places Palat in a good position to make an impact on Saturday, but he hasn't increased his points total in four straight appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
