Omari Spellman Scores Career-High 23 Points Off Bench
5 years agoGolden State Warriors power forward/center Omari Spellman needed just 20 minutes as a reserve during Saturday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons to collect a career-high 23 points, shooting 8-for-11 overall, including 4-for-4 from long range. It was a stellar effort from Spellman, who added five rebounds and four steals for his best fantasy outing of the year, taking a significant step forward after having scored in single digits in 11 of 13 December contests. Owners will want to temper expectations moving forward until Spellman earns more minutes with a higher frequency.
