Ollie Schniederjans Posts Top-30 at the Greenbrier
6 years agoOllie Schniederjans shot a seven-under par at the Military Tribute at the Greenbrier, recording his first top-30 finish since February. The young American opened Thursday and Friday with consecutive rounds of 66, but he was unable to keep his momentum going, finishing with rounds of 69 and 72, respectively. When all was said and done, Schniederjans finished in a share of 26th place. Despite this being his first top-30 result since the Phoenix Open in February, Schniederjans has shown a modicum of positive momentum these past two tournaments. In his previous event, the 25-year-old posted a T32 at the Quicken Loans National. Schniederjans, who is a former No. 1 ranked amateur in the world, is a player to keep an eye out for in the upcoming weeks. His talent is massive, and if he continues to show signs of bouncing back, he makes for a dangerous player in any event. However, as far as this week goes, Schniederjans is not in the John Deere Classic field.
